We were approached by Pacific Datacom to do a small multimedia presentation for their web site. They wanted a small advertisement which would demonstrate what they did as a company.
They had chosen Macromedia Flash as the medium for this project and asked WebMark Designs to create the animation for them.
Realising that the use of the Macromedia Flash plugin might annoy some viewers of the web site, Pacific Datacom also asked for a GIF animation to be created as a substitute for when the Flash plugin wasn't available.
