WebMark Designs were approached by MacDonald Machinery initially to give an analysis of their current web site. WebMark Designs were then hired to step in and do a complete re-design of the web site to give it a more contemporary look and feel.
The new web site needed to be useable, yet pleasing to the eye, so that their many customers would not only have access to their large and ever-expanding catalogue of products, but also enjoy the online experience.
Throughout the project, WebMark Designs worked closely together with MacDonald Machinery to develop the online catalogue. MacDonald Machinery needed to update the online catalogue at least once a day and as easily as possible. So, with this in mind, WebMark Designs developed an import feature that would allow MacDonald Machinery to update their new online catalogue without needing to know complicated server commands or HTML.
The web site features first-class search functionality, a homepage editor, up-to-date catalogue system, a small HTML/CSS server footprint, and a large amount of web space to cater for a growing number of products and product images.
